I have worn glasses or contact lenses for the past 30 years. I wanted
to have the
LASIK procedure and being a physician, I wanted to wait until the procedure
had a proven track record. I was legally blind without glasses. I had
to put my
glasses on to tell time in the middle of the night. I water-skied in
a blurry world.
I spoke with several physicians who had the procedure done by Dr. Jones

they were all exited about the outcome of their procedure. I had the
LASIK
procedure done over a year ago . I was amazed at how little pain I had.
I HAD NONE! My initial expectation was not that great since my eyesight
was so poor but I was amazed when I woke up and could read the clock
from across the room the next morning. I have not seen this clearly
since
I was a little boy! My only regret is that I didn’t have this
done several
years ago. Dr. Jones walked me through the procedure and at no point
was I uncomfortable or felt like I didn’t know what to expect.

As a registered nurse, I was always aware of new

contact lenses for many years. I was never really able to have clear
vision
regardless of what type of corrective lenses that I was wearing. I not
only
suffered from farsightedness, I also had astigmatism. This made it even
harder to find a lens that would correct my vision. Dr. Jones was very
careful in his examination and pre-surgical evaluation. He discussed

procedure and how it would benefit me. I had Lasik Surgery over a year
ago, and I have been very pleased. Within less than 24 hours, I was
able
to see distances without any problems at all. My vision was clear. Best
of
all, it was relatively painless and I no longer have the hassle of wearing
contact lenses. I have never been more pleased. Dr. Jones and his staff
are very pleasant and professional.

Dr. Jones performed my lasik surgery about 3 years ago. I did have some
dryness
which was treated with lubricating drops for the first 3 months after
surgery.
Now I believe my eyes are less dry than they were before I ever had
the lasik
procedure. My vision is slightly better than 20/20 and I have had no
significant
problems to speak of.
